Mikaela is the Hospital Manager at Neartown Animal Clinic.
She has recently relocated to Houston, Texas from Las Vegas, Nevada for a change in scenery and climate. Her educational background is an Associates Degree in Human Resource Administration as well as a Bachelors in Management. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to her pursuit in higher graduate education- Mikaela had a strong desire to pledge her allegiance to the nation, so she enlisted into the United States Airforce Reserve in 2019, where she is still currently serving. During her time in the service, she was able to enhance her problem solving and critical thinking abilities to direct the improvement of veterinary culture and staff development.
Mikaela brings to the Neartown Animal Clinic strong leadership skills that assist in fostering an efficient and effective hospital culture. She is committed to a positive work environment and providing the hospital with effective resources to improve facility standards. In her down time, Mikaela enjoys participating in 5k runs, traveling the world with her young daughter, and cuddling with her geriatric dog Nalah and cat Hades.
