Bathing & Boarding

Bathing

Treat your dog or cat to healthier skin and coat with bathing services from our trained staff. We do baths by appointment Monday through Friday. All baths include nail trims, ear cleaning and expressing the anal glands at no additional charge. Pets being bathed must be in the clinic before 10:00 am. The cost of bathing is based on the pet’s weight, length of coat and the type of shampoo used

Medicated baths

We can help ease many skin conditions in your pet with medicated baths. If he or she suffers from seborrhea (a noncontagious condition that can cause skin to become dry and flaky or oily and scaly), a medicated bath can help alleviate the itching. Pets with allergies, flea infestations, and other skin issues may also find relief with a medicated bath.

We can recommend a bath after we’ve examined your pet and diagnosed the problem. Illnesses unrelated to the skin, such as thyroid disease, can also cause skin problems in pets, so we want to be sure we’re treating the root of the problem, not just a symptom. Call us so we can help your pet feel better.Boarding

Boarding

When your pet can’t vacation with you, Neartown Animal Clinic is the perfect place to board your dog or cat. We provide boarding for our patients 365 days a year. We offer comfortable accommodations which are meticulously maintained. Each pet is provided with premium food and fresh water. We have a large play yard and every dog is taken outdoors a minimum of twice daily.

Cats are housed in our quiet cattery completely distinct from any dogs. Veterinary supervision ensures that unforeseen health problems will be promptly addressed.

• All pets must be current on vaccinations for bathing and boarding services.
